Almont Hotel Kyoto

The onsen experience was relaxing, but the laundry machines were confusing.

We found the staff to be very helpful.

Facilities and amenities at the hotel are clean and useful.

We cannot fault this hotel.

We were very surprised by this hotel! The location is great, just a 5 minute walk from Kyoto train station. From there you have access to the trains, busses and subway. Hotel is brand new and looks very nice. Staff is very friendly and the rooms are a great value! Very comfortable beds, very clean, good bathroom, AC, there is an air freshener. Slippers a Japanese pajama, fabric freshener, tea and a fridge, hairdryer, wifi and in the bathroom shampoo, soap etc. There is a public bath and for woman they have a separate bath with a code. You can use the umbrellas from the hotel and they have a nice lobby. For food you can go to the train station, many restaurants and bakeries, coffee shops etc. At first we had a problem with the noise from the traffic racing by the whole night, but could switch rooms without a problem the next day and we got a very quiet room! Had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back again and can recommend this to everyone.

One site of the hotel is along a very busy road. At night I could not sleep from the traffic that was racing by the whole night, if you are a difficult sleeper you will find this a problem. I asked for another room at the back side and heard nothing! duper quiet. We had room 632, so in case of a problem sleeper, ask a room that is not facing the road.

Good stay with a tasty breakfast!

I really enjoyed my stay! The breakfast had so many options and everything was really yummy. The staff was super friendly and even upgraded my room for free. The only thing was the area wasn't the best, but it was easy to get to the train station. I had a nice time here!

Very nice hotel which easy to access Kyoto station. Public bath open until 2.00am. Very comfortable.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Kyoto for a few days and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The hotel provided a women-only public Onsen, which was a lovely way to relax and unwind. Additionally, they provided Japanese style pajamas for all guests, adding a unique touch to the stay. The hotel's convenient location, with a nearby walkable distance to a convenient store, made it easy for me to access anything I needed during my stay.

Great and helpful staff, room was well designed and comfortable.

While the wi-fi was listed as free, it was impossible to log into the system. We were able to log-in downstairs and used a free connection that was nearby.

It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and it's very close to Kyoto station.

Not much to complain about

Spacious, clean room with nice bathroom. Convenient location near train station. Helpful staff. On-site public bath and free WiFi.

Room very big with a big toilet and shower. Not so close to kyoto train station. Walking about 10 mins to train station.

Hard to find restaurant to eat food. Lawson is opposite the hotel, u can get food there.

Close to the station, new, clean, good facilities and comfortable. I like the public bath too!

Conveniently located near Kyoto Station, making it easy to access public transportation. The room was clean and tidy with all necessary amenities. The staff were helpful and spoke English. The buffet breakfast was delicious, offering a taste of Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay.
